Our training programs are designed to get the most out of your dog. The Introduction to Hunting course gives a young dog the right start for its hunting career. The Gun Dog program gives the dog the technical background and experiences to be a polished gun dog. Advanced courses are also available in handling for retrievers, and steadiness for pointers and flushers.

INTRO TO HUNTING  4 week program

(dogs as young as 5 months)

Introduction to birds, guns, retrieving, pointing (pointing breeds), upland hunting, and water (when weather permits). A demonstration and an honest evaluation of the dogs strengths and weaknesses will be given at the end of the course.

GUN DOG  12 week program

(dogs as young as 9 months)

Retrievers and Spaniels - Covers obedience, retrieve to hand, control in the field, steady at the line, upland and waterfowl hunting.

Pointers - Covers obedience, retrieve to hand, control in the field, steady point to flush, and upland hunting.

Price: $650 + tax/month includes birds

ADVANCED  12 week program

Handling for blind retrieves.
Steadiness to wing, shot, and fall for flusher and pointers.

Price: $650 + tax/month includes birds
